Mynor Herrera

 Founder & Director

Mynor Herrera wrestled at the nationally renowned DeMatha Catholic HS, where he was a National Prep Champion, multiple time All-American, and a Washington Post All-Met wrestler. Today, he is the Head Coach of the B-CC HS wrestling program and the Founder & Director of the BCC Youth Wrestling Club, which has grown into one of the area’s more established programs, producing dozens of athletes who have gone on to excel at the next level.

Aaron Niman

Assistant Head Coach - Travel Team

BCC High School

Aaron began wrestling in high school and competed for three years on the varsity team at St. John's Prep in Massachusetts. He served as team captain in his senior year and earned recognition as a two-time state placewinner and conference all-star.

Blayne Candy

Head Coach - Rec Team

Georgetown Prep

Blayne Candy was born and raised in South Jersey. He began wrestling in middle school and went on to wrestle Varsity for St. Joseph's Prep in Philadelphia. While at Loyola College he started his coaching career as an assistant coach for the elementary school team at The Friends School in Baltimore. Blayne and his boys joined the BCC Team in 2023.

Jason Bonderenko

Coach – Travel Team

BCC High School

Jason started wrestling in middle school. He wrestled for Mamaroneck High School in New York where he was a team captain and at Ithaca College. Jason has been coaching with BCC Youth Wrestling Club and his son has been a wrester on the team since 2023.

Brad Olander

Head Coach- Travel Team

BCC High School

Brad Olander wrestled as a youth and through middle and high school in central Ohio before competing at Cornell University. He has been coaching youth wrestling for nearly 10 years, starting as an assistant with Hustle & Muscle Mat Club and now with BCC. Wrestling runs in his family—his older son, Preston (17), wrestled through the 2021–22 season, and his younger son, Leif, a 7th grader, has four more years ahead with BCC.

Alfonso Motta

Head Coach - Rec Team

St. Johns High School

Alfonso began his wrestling journey in high school, competing for Wheaton High School in Montgomery County, MD. His passion for the sport, both on and off the mat, eventually led him to coaching. In 2023, Alfonso joined the coaching staff at BCC, where he brings energy, discipline, and a strong commitment to developing young athletes.

Steve McKinney

Coach - Travel Team

BCC High School

Steve wrestled for Eleanor Roosevelt High School, where he served as team captain, won the PG County Tournament, and placed at the State level. Steve has been coaching youth wrestling for six years, starting at DC Takedown Club and now with BCC. Both of his children have wrestled with BCC, making BCC wrestling a family tradition for the McKinneys.
