REGISTRATION FOR THE 2025-2026 SEASON IS OPENING OCTOBER 1, 2025
OVERVIEW
The Bethesda-Chevy Chase (“B-CC”) Youth Wrestling Club is a wrestling club for boys and girls starting at age 7. The B-CC Youth Wrestling Club is an all-volunteer, non-profit corporation, and is chartered by USA Wrestling. The wrestling season runs from mid-November through February.
PRE-SEASON PRACTICE SCHEDULE
Pre-Season Practice for Travel & High School Teams:
Mondays, 9/8 - 11/3 at BCC High School 3:00-5:30 PM
RECREATION TEAMS
BCC Youth Wrestling Club is a Tournament Club that competes in weekly tournaments. Wrestlers may compete as much or as little as they like, but we do encourage competition. FYI We have traditionally competed in the Top of the Podium's (TOP) Winter Wrestling Series, but it no longer exists so we are now a Tournament Club.
This year we will have a Junior Rec Team for kids with 0-3 years of experience, but not yet in 6th+ grade. The Junior Team will practice twice a week from 6:30pm to 8pm. The Senior Rec Team is for kids with 2+ years of experience, but not yet an 8th grader or athletic 7th grader. This team will also practice twice a week from 6:30pm to 8pm.
Regular Season Practices:
St. John's College HS: Rec Team 6:30-8:00 PM Mondays and Wednesdays
Georgetown Prep: Jr & Sr Rec Teams 6:30-8:00 PM Tuesdays and Thursdays
TRAVEL TEAM
The Travel Team consists of experienced wrestlers who have surpassed the skill level of the recreational league and have demonstrated a readiness for more advanced training and competition. We will also include inexperienced 8th graders and athletic 7th graders.
The Travel team competes in weekly tournaments throughout the State and region. The main emphasis is qualifying and succeeding in the Maryland State Wrestling Association championships. Travel practices three times a week from 6:30pm to 8pm.
If you have a new wrestler joining this club or have a rec wrestler in the club who wants to bump up, please speak with a coach before registering as we want to make sure that we place the kids on the most appropriate teams.

BCC High School: 6:30-8:00 PM Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays
